Portrait of Xavier Rousset

Xavier Rousset

Xavier Rousset has spent his career discovering exceptional wines and sharing the pleasure of drinking them. Having earned the title of Master Sommelier at just 23, he led the wine team at Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons before co-founding Texture and creating some of London’s best-loved wine destinations, including 28-50, Blandford Comptoir and Cabotte.

Here, Xavier brings that experience to a personal collection of bottles from favourite producers and discoveries worth sharing. Each is chosen with the same care as the wines served at his tables, whether you’re opening something familiar over supper or trying a new region for the first time.

Bottles by occasion

Tell us the occasion. We’ll find the bottle.

  • Tonight, at the table

Something open, something generous, and no need to think too hard.

  • A bottle for dinner

For when you’ve been asked to bring the wine and would like to be asked again.

  • A present that does the talking

Wrapped, chosen, and very obviously thought about.

  • One for later

A bottle to put away and forget about for a few years. Ideally.
